When We Break It Down, What Is Ethics?

Ethics is the philosophical study of moral phenomena. Also called moral philosophy, it investigates questions about what people ought to do or which behavior is morally right. Its main branches include normative ethics, applied ethics, and metaethics. Ethics is closely connected to value theory, which studies the nature and types of value, like the contrast between intrinsic and instrumental value.

Director of Outreach Remote Develop and implement outreach strategies to engage religious schools, institutions, and community partners. Build relationships with high schools, colleges, and other organizations to expand the nonprofit’s reach for phase two.
